Terms of Use (EULA)
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the CloudFridge mobile application and related services ("App") provided by Driftforge Systems ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App or cloudfridge.app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the App
You may use the App for personal kitchen inventory, grocery lists, meal planning, receipt scanning, and related features. You agree not to misuse the App, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
2. Accounts
Some features (cloud sync) require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete my account or at cloudfridge.app/delete-account.
3. Optional Subscriptions
CloudFridge may offer optional auto-renewing subscriptions processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play (for example, CloudFridge Premium). When subscriptions are available:
- Price and duration are shown in the App and on the store listing at the time of purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store or Play Store account settings after purchase.
- Any free trial or promotional period, if offered, converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
If Premium is not currently sold in your build, core kitchen features remain available without a paid subscription under these Terms.
4. Health & Food Information Disclaimer
CloudFridge is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Diet, allergen, and condition tags are optional filters for recipes and ingredients only. Nutrition and recipe data from third-party food APIs may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always verify ingredients and consult a qualified professional for dietary or medical decisions.
5. Content and Third-Party Services
Food lookup, recipes, and nutrition data may come from third-party providers. We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or fitness of any suggestion. The App is not affiliated with or endorsed by grocery retailers or food brands unless explicitly stated.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, branding, and original content are owned by Driftforge Systems or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission. Kitchen data you enter remains yours; you grant us a limited license to store and process it to provide the service.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the App at any time and cancel subscriptions through your store account.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Driftforge Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including reliance on expiry estimates, OCR results, or recipe suggestions.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
